MY EXPERIENCE OF PERCEPTUAL PROCESS TOWARDS PRODUCT

My experience with ‘Spicy Chicken McDeluxe' burger can be describe through the three stages:
EXPOSURE
ATTENTION
INTERPRETATION
This 1st stage is how McDonald’s burger make contact with my sense of stimuli. First, the product’s appearance is really mesmerizing as it can persuade me to buy it. The burger also create a perfect smell of chicken and the mayonnaise. While I’m eating, the taste of the spicy chicken patty flow through my mouth and produced the crunchy sound that could makes me satisfied. Plus, the texture of the bun is quite fluffy and perfectly fit with the patty.
The 2nd stage is how I actually been noticed about the product. I have seen McDonald’s ads at everywhere, especially on the television, billboard and the internet. Also, McDonald’s restaurant can be seen at every places. In this matter, McDonald’s had used the right approach towards the customer to purchase the product. This shows that McDonald’s already managed to grab attention of their consumer.
The last stage is interpretation that occur after the stage of exposure and attention. In this part is when we saw an ads or logo we already had the information about what does it about. The moment we see the ‘M’ logo, our mind will interpret that the logo is a McDonald Company.
